Super flumina Babylonis

  Super flumina Babylonis,

    על נהרות בבל

   By the waters of Babylon, 
  illic sedimus et flevimus,

    שם ישבנו גם-בכינו

   there we sat and wept,
  dum recordaremur tui, Sion.

    בזכרנו את-ציון.

   when we remembered thee, O Zion.
